Welcome to Polwhele House School
With 30 acres of countryside just minutes from central Truro, our pupils learn in an environment that blends outdoor adventure with academic challenge. It’s a place where children discover not only knowledge, but confidence and independence.
Mark Clutsom, Head
We believe every child should discover their strengths and the confidence to use them.
Our teachers support pupils both in and out of the classroom, encouraging them to learn, perform, compete and play. From music and drama to sport and equestrianism, children have the chance to pursue what excites them most.
Those with particular gifts in Performing Arts, Sport or Equestrianism can go further still as Polwhele House Scholars, with dedicated time to refine their skills within the school day.
Open Day: Saturday 21st March 2026
