Art, Drama and Dance at Polwhele House
At Polwhele House School, the arts are an integral part of our curriculum, with Drama, Dance, Music and Art taught across all year groups from Year 3 to Year 9.
Our pupils benefit from specialist teachers and dedicated facilities, including a large, well-equipped art room and a versatile theatre space complete with professional lighting and sound systems. These resources support a rich and creative learning environment where children are encouraged to explore their artistic talents and express themselves confidently.
Beyond the classroom, we offer a wide range of extracurricular clubs that further enrich our arts provision. Pupils have regular opportunities to showcase their work and talents through performances, exhibitions, and concerts held throughout the school year. We also take pride in entering national-level art and performing arts competitions, where our students consistently demonstrate their creativity, skill, and passion for the arts.
