Our Ponies

Arnold

Colour: Bay Height: 11.1H Character: Arnold is wonderfully calm and relaxed with beginners and our youngest riders, but a pocket rocket at gymkhana games for our more experienced pupils.

Bruce

Colour: Bay Height: 15.2H Character: Bruce is ideal for our older and taller riders and, as a school master, teaches them to ride with more confidence and competence in both dressage and jumping.

Missy

Nel (TresoryaEbrillwen)

Colour: Palomino Height: 13.2H Character: Nel is a gentle and kind pony, who we have re-trained since summer 2017. She was previously a companion pony, having sadly suffered abuse in her earlier life. Nel loves her new life at Polwhele House, and is now learning to relax more when ridden and enjoys jumping.

Pearl (Hallaze Pearl)

Colour: Chestnut Roan Height: 11.2H Character: Pearl is a cheeky pony who loves nothing more than her haynet, or a quick snack on anything she can reach out on a hack! She can be a little lazy, which helps riders to learn to use their legs! She has the most beautiful trot, and loves hacking and jumping.

Polly

Colour: Strawberry Roan Height: 12H Character: Polly knows her job so well that she is perfect for lead rein riders and those learning to ride independently. She gives many children their first canter and their first jump.
